SEEK 2009

SEEK is a Christian outreach event for Japanese students living in Southern California. It was started in 2008, and again this year, the event took place in October. It was a huge success, with people coming to know Christ, and I was blessed to be a part of this event as one of the designers. I designed the brochure cover and poster for pre-event prayer meeting, and the flyer for Fashion Show.

The theme was "Gather!" this year, with background in verses from the Bible. I used Luke 13:29 as my main inspiration: "People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God." In the book of Revelation, the bible talks about the new Heaven. I took the 7 stars (churches) that Christ was holding, and 12 lines (tribes of Israel) that's coming together to celebrate together and made it into an image. We may be living in dark (black background) age, but people will see us shine when we celebrate as one church.
