I finally got to visit Hawaii for the first time in, say, 5 years. I really needed to get away, to relax and spend time with God. I was looking for beauty. God is a beautiful God, and I wanted to experience that grace at the most beautiful place...Hawaii. The sky really did proclaim His name, and the sun really did ran its course like a groom. It made me want to cry when I saw the sunrise at Lanikai Beach. That was only a glimpse of God's beauty, perhaps just his shadow. But that was more than enough for me to be in awe, and be filled.
Shots by my new Canon XSi, again, but 18-55mm proved a little insufficient for bigger shots of scenery. But it gave me great close-up shots and great colours, that's for sure.
Yay, you got a DSLR. Good job Emi. You'll have to tell me about your trip to Hawaii sometime. Miss you!
