Testing with Sigma 28-300mm F3.5-6.3 witn Canon XSi

I tested with a different lens this time, with Sigma 28-300mm F3.5-6.3. Honestly, I've been having difficulty with the Sigma lens, because it freezes the camera occasionally and I have to turn off the camera to make it go away. When I look down at the subject, the barrel drops because of its heavy 300mm zoom. Anyways, it's nice...but I like my kit lens better, even though the Sigma lens gives you more in terms of zoom and 'oomph'. I'm thinking about getting EF 28-135mm F3.5-5.6 sometime...better portraits, better macro is my hope.
