So one night my hubby came up to me and said he has a gift for me. (This was a while ago, about two months ago, actually.) He was so excited to show me the gift, but he told me to wait and close my eyes first. So I did. He said I can open my eyes now.
Then I saw it sitting on top of the table. It was a Canon EF 24-105 mm f/4 IS USM lens!!!! OH my GOSH!!! How did he know that I wanted this thing!!!??? He got me a $1,000 lens!? So I was in total shock and actually fell off the couch, and hugged him in disbelief.
He was laughing so hard, though I had no idea why.
He told me to touch it. I touched it, and took it into my hands. Hmm?? It's a little light for this huge lens... oh, WAIT A MINUTE!!! (at this point, Takeshi is laughing his head off.) He tells me to open it. I did. I mean, it OPENed. Obviously, it's not a lens!!!
It's a CUP.
He asked me what day today was...well, it was a fine day in April...April 1st!!!!
Now I'm laughing, too, laughed so hard it made me cry. We shared a cup of orange juice after, in that amazing cup :) It was made so well, even the texture was like the real thing. Sigh...he's amazing.
