I was asked by my another friend to do a welcome board a couple of months ago. She showed me the images of the things that she liked and I made modifications to make it her version. She and I agreed on a chalkboard art, and although it was my first time using chalk as a medium, I gave it a try. It's always fun to learn something new. I used just a regular chalk with wet cloth and Q-tips to clean up scattered powder and mistakes. Here are the steps.
Since I'm a super beginner in this chalkboard art thing, I got some help from my trusty Photoshop. haha. I downloaded some fancy fonts from dafont.com, and that helped me with layout of the whole board.
Then I printed out the layout to scale, traced the lines, and filled it in with chalk.
After that I added some color with acrylic paint.

Then hot-glued some flowers to match her color scheme, coral. {Photo from one of the lovely girls that attended the wedding :) }
And I had a little bit of extra time so this was added to the big board as an add on.
It was a beautiful wedding, and we were so blessed to see the two of them totally in love with each other and with Jesus. I love weddings, if you haven't noticed :P
